Bhote Koshi River Rafting, is often remarked as: “Like a Pinball Machine, and you’re the ball” ; “Like being flushed down on the open-air toilet”. Major tributary of Sun Koshi River that flows down from Tibet and easily accessible from Kathmandu, is one of the most adventurous white water rivers in Nepal. The River is venturesome and challenging for both rafting and kayaking. This Rafting trip is full of excitement in the deep gorges – dramatically adventurous and rapids are challenging with big bounces – between steep mountains.

Bhotekoshi River is fascinating with class IV-V rapids in the autumn – October through December – and classic III-IV rapids in the Spring season.
Kathmandu
From Kathmandu drive to Lamosanghu – 95 km east of Kathmandu along Kodari Highway – which is the starting point of the rafting trip. The drive is scenic in the lush green forest sections and with view of terraced farms, countryside life, and magnificent view of the Himalayan Peaks.
Assemble at the Put in point, meet with our River guide, and participate in briefing on the Rafting terms and safety instructions. Then, Enjoy the Rafting for a day. Enjoy the scenic rafting with various rapids that may stop your breath for sometime or straight your hair.
After about 10 km raft down in the river, arrive ending point for today.
End your first day Rafting. Change your cloth, enjoy Tea/Coffee and snacks. Overnight stay in the Tented camp in the River bank.
Start second day in river with a wake up tea at around 6.30 am and followed by Breakfast. Then pack your bag, drive back to starting point and then get set for a second astonishing day.
Enjoy the class three rapids, learn how to work in a team, enjoy the white water rafting. And, then have a lunch, and finish the rafting with a drive to Kathmandu.
