Jamacho Hill (2,128 m/ 6,981 ft) is located in the Nagarjun-Shivapuri National park, few kilometers north-west of Kathmandu downtown. Attraction of the hike is the Himalayas panorama includes the ranges like Manasalu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Jugal, Gaurishankar and so on, and a hike in a pristine nature.
The hike that is about 5 Km uphill from the bottom where hiking begins takes about 3 hours walk in the deep forest. Our guide carry pack lunch for you. This day hike is one of the most sought after activities that is located in the closest proximity from the downtown Kathmandu. After you drive some 15 minutes to the point, you climb up through the well-paved hiking trail.

We come to your Hotel/place of residence to pick you up for a drive to the foothill of the Nagarjuna. And from here, you will walk with our Guide, and Porter if required to the hill top. Walk down to the foothill and return to your residence/hotel.

Our Guide will pick you up at the Hotel/or place where you stay (Extra charge may occur if pick up point is out of range of our common service). And, drive some 15-20 minutes to the foothill of Nagarjuna hill. We have to complete Park entrance formalities in the entrance gate and takes some time.
Begin hiking from the Gate to Jamacho Hill on a stepped uphill trail. Enjoy green landscapes, hills, fresh air and a nature walk as you hike higher.
Jamacho or Nagarjuna hill, called as Vindhya Mountain, is popular pilgrimage sites for both Hindus and Buddhists. The Jamacho Gumba (Buddhist monastery) on the hilltop is beautiful viewpoint as well besides pilgrimage site from where one can view of stunning view of Kathmandu valley and panoramic view of the Himalayas in a clear day.
Depending upon your stamina, it takes approximately 3-4 hours to reach to the top from where you can enjoy the view of the Majestic Himalayas. You will have pack lunch for the day that our Guide will have for you.
Descend to Gate and then drive back.
Our guide will drop you at your Hotel or place of your residence.
