Itinerary

Day 01:Arrival Day

Our Airport Representative will greet you in Tribhuwan International Airport and transfer you to your respective hotels. After check-in and some rest you will be taken to the main touristic hub in the city for short introduction tour. Your trip guide will briefly give information about your trip in the evening.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Today after breakfast you will be taken to the cultural heritage sites of Kathmandu. The first sightseeing destination will be Pashupatinath Temple, the most famous and sacred Hindu Pilgrimage site located 5km north-east of the valley on the bank of Bagmati River. The temple is the largest temple complex in Nepal which was built in 5th century in Nepali Pagoda style. Then, you will drive to Boudhanath Stupa which is situated 8km to the east of downtown Kathmandu Valley. The stupa is the biggest monastery in Nepal and is one of the biggest in the World and is visible as soon as you land at the airport. Kathmandu Durbar Square will be your next sightseeing spot. It is one of the popular Durbar Squares also known as Hanuman Dhoka which lies in the centre of the city. You will be appreciating the art and architecture once you reach Kathmandu Durbar Square. Visiting the temple of Living Goddess “Kumari” will be unique experience for you.Lastly, you will drive to Swayabhunath Stupa positioned on a hillock 3 kilometers west of the valley. It is one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage sited in Nepal. The panoramic view of the valley can be observed from the stupa.

Day 03: Drive to Jyamrung (1400m)

Driving Duration: 3 hours

Hiking Duration: 2-3 hours

Today, you will leave your hotel after breakfast and drive towards Dhading Besi (530m) via the Prithivi Highway and Kalu Pandey Highway following the Trishuli River and Toppal River. You will leave Dhanding Besi, the headquarter of Dhading district after lunch and drive for an hour to reach Syauli Bazar (1100m). The walk begins from here after short break. You will hike through pine woods along the ridge, dome small settlements and reach the final destination, Jyamrung village, a beautiful village with ethnic diversity.

Day 04: Exploration Day

You will experience the tranquility of the atmosphere as you get out of the bed. You will have a typical Nepali breakfast at the lodge and get prepared to explore the village for the rest of the day. Today, you will walk in the village thoroughly witnessing, learning and experiencing tha village lifestyle. You will spend the whole day learning village works like milking buffaloes, fetching grass for cattle, collecting firewood from jungle, and joining the villagers in their farms where you will plough fields, plant the crops and vegetables.

Day 05: Exploration Day 2

Spend the second morning in Jyamrung with a warm cup of tea and local breakfast at the lodge. Rest of the day, you will be visiting to local schools and opt to teach the students. You will also visit micro-hydropower, observe eco-friendly toilets and health centers. Join the local cultural program full of cultural dances and songs along with delicious food in the evening.

Day 06: Drive back to Kathmandu

Driving Duration: 6 hours

Today, after breakfast, the villagers will bid farewell to you and send you off. You will walk for around 40 minutes crossing some terraced fields and farms and crossing the suspension bridge. You will hop into the private vehicle in Sukaura and have a scenic drive to Kathmandu Valley. Upon arrival, you will check-in at the hotel and relax. You can stroll around the streets of Thamel, touristic hub in the heart of the valley.

Day 07: Departure Day

You will be transferred to airport for your onward destination about 3 hours prior to your flight wishing you best time ahead.
