Surkhet is a beautiful valley and one of the inner Tarai Valleys of Nepal. After this long day/night drive, rest in Surkhet.

Alternately, you can fly to Nepalgunj and then drive to Surkhet (about 108 kms).

Day 02: Surkhet – Dungeshwar (Put in Point – travel around 5 hours) – Short Raft

After breakfast, drive to Dungeshwar which takes some 5 hours. Dungeshwar is located in the confluence of Loohre and Karnali River at 544m/ 1784 ft. The drive is through the unspoiled scenic villages and farms where very little foreigners travel.

After the lunch, you will raft small stretch and stop at the bank of the Karnali River.

After breakfast you enjoy the first real day of Rafting adventure in the Karnali river. Follow the instruction given by your guide. You will come across with some bounces and rapids – as big as class IV rapids to welcome you. Overnight stay in the river bank camp.

Day 04: Rafting to God House – Overnight Camping

After morning breakfast prepared by our crew, you start another challenging day in which you raft towards God-House. The day is typical of the Himalayan White Water rafting – filled with adventure, big and continuous float, scenic river gorges in the mountain and valley. You enter into the narrowing forest corridor with picturesque setting. Overnight stay in the God House area’s sensational setting.

Day 05: Rafting to Seti Dovan

You still hit some rapids of God’s House and some more such as Juicer, Flip, and Strip. Enjoy the bird life in the corridor, various rapids and rafting for the day. Evening reach to Seti Dovan – a section where another river meets – and enjoy the rest of the time with crew in the camp.

Day 06: Rafting to Jamune Village

It is almost  a whole day rafting in which you witness some captivating sceneries. Keep paddling with some small rapids but it is like a relaxing day after previous two thrilling rafting exercises. You always keep busy enjoying the surrounding of the Karnali river basin and George. Reach Jamune village, and overnight in the camp.

Day 07: Rest and Relaxing Day

It’s a rewarding day for you to enjoy in the sandy beach, dry your clothes, and enjoy the surrounding area of the village.

Day 08 -09: Rafting in the River Continues – Overnight in the Camps

As Karnali River follows down towards the southern slopes, rapids automatically begin to normalizing. Continue to raft pass the confluence of Bheri River at Ghatgaun – where the river broadens. Overnight stay in the river bank camp.

Day 10: Rafting to Chisapani

Today is the last day of the rafting trip. We raft down to Chisapani until the lunch time. The section is also equipped with jungle, villages, and hill.

Once you complete the trip, you return to Kathmandu, or you proceed to your next destination.
