Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Day

Our Airport Representative will greet you at Tribhuwan International Airport and transfer you to your respective hotels. After check-in and some rest, you will be taken to the main touristic hub in the city for a short introduction tour. Your trip guide will briefly give information about your trip in the evening.

Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing & drive to Nagarkot via Patan

Driving Duration: 1 hour & 30 minutes 

Today, you will visit the top tourist destination in Kathmandu valley namely Swoyambhunath Temple in the morning. Also popular as “Monkey Temple”, Swoyambhunath is located atop a hill, west of Kathmandu valley. It is an ancient architecture and the sacred Buddhists Pilgrimage Site for Newar Buddhists and second to the Tibetan Buddhists. After exploring Swoyambhunath, you will drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu valley which also goes by “Hanuman Dhoka”. The Durbar Square carries the royal palaces of the Malla and Shah Kings who ruled over the valley in bygone days. Kumari Chok or Kumari Temple is one of the major and curious attractions of this area. 

Next, you will be driven to the neighboring city called Patan in Lalitpur to explore another Heritage Site, Patan Durbar Square. Holding 136 Bahals (courtyards) and 55 major temples, Patan Durbar Square is a wonder Newari architecture. The old royal palace of Malla King of Lalitpur and ancient Newari residential houses are the top attractions here. Shortly after lunch in Patan, you will then drive to Nagarkot, a famous hill station for sunrise and sunset view along with a panoramic vista of some Himalayan ranges. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and with the glorious sun setting down behind the peaks.

Day 03: Nagarkot-Bhaktapur-Pashupatinath-Boudhnath

Have a relaxing good morning by observing the enchanting sunrise with its golden rays sparkling over the Himalayas. Some of the Himalayan peaks such as Gaurishankar (7134m), Dorje Lakpa (6966m), and Mount Cho Oyu (8188m) can be viewed from Nagarkot. If the weather is very fine, Mount Everest (8848m) also can be seen. You will check out after breakfast and drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square in Bhaktapur Valley. It is one of the most visited places in Kathmandu valley and some of the major attractions of the place are 55 windows palace, Vatsala Temple, Nyatapola Temple, Statue of Bhupindra Malla, Lion’s Gate, etc. 

Further, you will drive to Pashupatinath Temple, the most famous and sacred Hindu Pilgrimage site located 5km north-east of the valley on the bank of Bagmati River. The temple is the oldest temple in Nepal which was built in the 5th century in the Nepali Pagoda style. Hindu pilgrims all round the world visit here every year on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri and other festivals. 

The final sightseeing spot of this journey will be Boudhanath Stupa, another top tourist site in the Kathmandu area. The stupa dominates the skyline; it is one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal and also one of the largest stupas in the world. The view of this big white stupa from the roof of the surrounding cafes is super majestic. Boudhanath is also famous for Tibetan goods and architecture. 

In the evening, you will be transferred to the hotel.

Day 04: Departure Day

You will be transferred to the airport for your onward destination by a representative from our company 3 hours prior as per your flight schedule.
