Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Day

Our Airport Representative will greet you at Tribhuwan International Airport and transfer you to your respective hotels. After check-in and some rest, you will be taken to the main touristic hub in the city for a short introduction tour. Your trip guide will briefly give information about your trip in the evening.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

After breakfast, your tour begins with sightseeing around the UNESCO World Heritage Sites inside the capital. The first sightseeing destination will be Pashupatinath Temple, the most famous and sacred Hindu Pilgrimage site located 5km north-east of the valley on the bank of Bagmati River. The temple is the largest temple complex in Nepal which was built in the 5th century in the Nepali Pagoda style.  

Then, you will drive to Boudhanath Stupa which is situated 8km to the east of downtown Kathmandu Valley. The stupa is the biggest monastery in Nepal and is one of the biggest in the World and is visible as soon as you land at the airport. Built-in the 8th century in Mandala shape, the stupa reflects Tibetan Buddhism and is one of the impressive landmarks in Nepal. 

Kathmandu Durbar Square will be your next sightseeing spot. It is one of the popular Durbar Squares also known as Hanuman Dhoka which lies in the center of the city. You will be appreciating the art and architecture once you reach Kathmandu Durbar Square. Visiting the temple of Living Goddess “Kumari” will be a unique experience for you.

Lastly, you will drive to Swayabhunath Stupa positioned on a hillock 3 kilometers west of the valley. Legend states that Swayambhu was born out of a lotus flower that bloomed in the middle of the lake that spread across the Kathmandu valley. It is one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage sited in Nepal. The panoramic view of the valley can be observed from the stupa.

Day 03: Kathmandu-Patan-Bhaktapur-Nagarkot

Driving Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes 

After breakfast in Kathmandu, you will drive to another UNESCO World Heritage Site in Patan, Lalitpur. Patan Durbar Square is a historical landmark full of Hindu and Buddhist monuments. An ancient royal palace, Krishna Mandir and Museum right next to it are some of the major attractions of this area. 

Later, you will drive to Bhaktapur; east corner of the valley to explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is famous for its unique handicrafts, medieval era temples, and structures. Other top attractions are Nyatapola Temple, 55 window Palace, Dattatreya Temple, etc. Finishing the sightseeing in Bhaktapur, you will continue your drive towards Nagarkot. 

Nagarkot is one of the beautiful places in the country, 32kms northeast of Kathmandu valley which is famous for Himalayan views and for glorious sunrise and sunset. Upon arriving at Nagarkot, you will check-in and relax or you can go to view tower to witness the enchanting sunset and the Himalayas.

Day 04: Fly to Nepalgunj, drive to Bardia National Park

Flight Duration: 50 minutes 

Driving Duration: 3 hours 

Starting the day with a gorgeous sunrise and the panoramic view of the hills and mountains, you will check-out of the hotel after breakfast. You will drive to the airport for your flight to Nepalgunj in Western Nepal. Once you land, you will drive to Bardia National Park and check-in the resort and relax. You will have a short tour of an authentic Tharu village after lunch. Later, you will visit crocodile farm in Bardia National Park visitor center.

Day 05: Bardia National Park Exploration Day

Early morning breakfast and you will start your exploration program. Accompanied by the nature guide, you will walk into the deeps woods of the national park to track some of the wild animals. The national park is a home of varieties of wild animals like one-horned rhino, Asian elephant, spotted deer, swamp deer, barking deer, hog deer, wild boar, blackbuck, royal Bengal Tiger, leopard, golden jackal, striped hyena, and many others. Return back to your hotel by the evening and enjoy your dinner along with Tharu Cultural Show.

Day 06: Bardia National Park Exploration Day 2

Early morning, you will have a short drive to Chisapani, a village by the Karnali River. Escorted by the professional, you will explore the rivers and wildlife by rafting down the gentle Karnali. Do not miss the chance to get a glimpse of the wild animals slaking their thirst in the river. While drifting down the river, you may spot the endangered freshwater Gharial crocodile, Gangetic dolphins and Marsh mugger. Bird watching is also possible as the National Park is the home to different species of migratory and residential birds. Finally, end your day with a good dinner and another Tharu Cultural Dance Program.

Day 07: Drive to Nepalgunj, Fly to Kathmandu

Flight Duration: 50 minutes 

Driving Duration: 3 hours 

Leaving behind Bardia National Park, you will be transferred to Nepalgunj Airport for flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be escorted to your respective hotel where you will check-in and relax. In the leisure time in the evening, you may visit some restaurants or go shopping in the streets of the touristic hub, Thamel.

Day 08: Departure Day

You will be transferred to the airport for your onward destination by a representative from our company 3 hours prior as per your flight schedule.
