Muktinath Darshan Tour

Our Airport Representative will greet you at Tribhuwan International Airport and transfer you to your respective hotels. After check-in and some rest, you will be taken to the main touristic hub in the city for a short introduction tour. Your trip guide will briefly give information about your trip in the evening.

Overnight at the hotel.

The tour begins today after your breakfast in the hotel. You will be visiting three world heritage sites today. And they are:

Pashupatinath Temple, the most important Hindu Pilgrimage is a temple constructed in the 17^th century and has been unchanged since then. Non-Hindu visitors are unacceptable in the main temple but can observe the scenes from across the river.

Boudhanath Stupa is your next stop. The stupa is one of the biggest stupas in South Asia and was built in the 5^th century which reflects Tibetan Buddhism. Many small gompas and monasteries are also built-in Tibetan style. The area is an authentic place to purchase Tibetan Stuffs.

Driving Duration: 7 hours

A.M breakfast and precede your journey towards the second-largest city in Nepal, Pokhara. Drive through Prithvi Highway along with small villages, beautiful mountains, and hills and the bank of some rivers. Once you hit 80kms north side from Kathmandu, you will stop there for nearly two hours to pay a visit to Manakamana Temple, which is a temple of the wish-fulfilling goddess. The thrilling cable car ride over a huge river and hill will be your back and through transportation which will approximately take about 30 minutes in total.

After your darshan in Manakamana, you will get back to the road and continue driving towards Pokhara. Check-in and relax or go for a refreshing walk on the lakeside after check-in once you are there in the city.

Short but scenic flight over the hills and cities from Pokhara Airport will land you at Jomsom Airport. Boarding on a jeep at the airport, you head off to the destination for darshan. Different forms of landscapes and changes in vegetation can be seen on the route to Muktinath. A sacred village called Kagbeni also falls en route which lies right at the feet of Muktinath valley by the bank of Kali Gandaki River. Spend some time by the bank of the river and give continuity to your drive. Arrive at jeep stand and hike uphill for 30 minutes to reach Muktinath. Once you reach the premises, you finish your Muktinath Darshan and take some pictures. Interested can take a bath to 180 waterspouts, Pap Kunda and Dharma Kunda. There is a belief that if you take a bath there, your sins will be forgiven. You will also visit Jwalamai temple and some of the attractions of the area and head back to Jomsom by jeep for an overnight stay.

Flying Duration: 25 minutes

Enjoy your breakfast in Jomsom and transfer to the airport to catch a flight to Pokhara. Once you reach there, you will check-in, take rest for some moment and visit top attractions of Pokhara such as Devis Fall, Gupteshowr Cave, and Shanti Stupa (World Peace Pogoda). Built by a Japanese monk in Japanese style, it is ranked as the top 2 attractions of the city providing you a panoramic view of Annapurna ranges, Fewa Lake, and Pokhara city. Boating in beautiful Fewa Lake will give you an amazing view of the hills, mountains, and Sarangkot. Later, in the leisure time, you can take a walk or ride a bicycle on the lakeside.

Driving Duration: 7 hours

As usual, you will start your day by taking breakfast at the hotel. Today you will go for another long yet scenic drive along riverside, tiny villages, fascinating hills and mountains through Prithivi Highway to reach the capital, Kathmandu valley. After checking-in at the hotel in Kathmandu, you will have some leisure time for relaxing or strolling around the Thamel area.

Have breakfast, relax and start today’s tour inside the hidden places of the valley. This moment will be a great opportunity to look into the art and lifestyle of Kathmandu as you will be walking through the oldest and busiest markets like Ason, Indrachok and Newroad. Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the popular Durbar Squares also known as Hanuman Dhoka which lies in the centre of the city. You will be appreciating the art and architecture once you reach Kathmandu Durbar Square. Visiting the temple of Living Goddess “Kumari” will be unique experience for you.
