Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Day

Our Airport Representative will greet you at Tribhuwan International Airport and transfer you to your respective hotels. After check-in and some rest, you will be taken to the main touristic hub in the city for a short introduction tour. Your trip guide will briefly give information about your trip in the evening.

Day 02: Kathmandu city Sightseeing

The tour begins today after your breakfast in the hotel. You will be visiting three world heritage sites today. And they are:

Pashupatinath Temple, the most important Hindu Pilgrimage is a temple constructed in the 17th century and has been unchanged since then. Non-Hindu visitors are unacceptable in the main temple but can observe the scenes from across the river.

Boudhanath Stupa is your next stop. The stupa is one of the biggest stupas in South Asia and was built in the 5th century which reflects Tibetan Buddhism. Many small gompas and monasteries are also built-in Tibetan style. The area is an authentic place to purchase Tibetan Stuffs.

Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the popular Durbar Squares also known as Hanuman Dhoka which lies in the center of the city. You will be appreciating the art and architecture once you reach Kathmandu Durbar Square. Visiting the temple of Living Goddess “Kumari” will be a unique experience for you.

Day 03: Kathmandu Sightseeing & drive to Bandipur

Driving Duration: 4 hours and 15 minutes

Your third day in Nepal starts with breakfast and some sightseeing in Kathmandu city and Patan.

Swoyambhunath Stupa is also popular as “Monkey temple” among tourists and is indeed a great and famous attraction of the valley. The stupa is one of the ancient stupas of the valley where the worshippers are diverse from Newar nuns, Tibetan monks to Brahmin priests. Situated at the top of the hill, it offers you an incredible view of the valley.

Patan Durbar Square is in Patan, Lalitpur where Krishna Mandir, Golden Temple, Museum, and Ashok Pilar are the major attractions.

After lunch, you will head off to a beautiful city called Bandipur, 140kms west of Kathmandu through Prithivi Highway along with fantastic scenery.

Day 04: Drive to Pokhara

Driving Duration: 2 hours and 15 minutes

In the morning, you will visit the top attractions of Bandipur village such as Thani Mai Temple, Sidha Gufa, Gurunghe Hill, Khadga Devi Temple, Old House Café, and Tundikhel.

Later you will drive to the city of lakes, Pokhara. Once you reach there, you will take rest and visit to top attractions of Pokhara such as Devis Fall, Gupteshowr Cave, and Shanti Stupa (World Peace Pogoda). Built by a Japanese monk in Japanese style, it is ranked as the top 2 attractions of the city providing you a panoramic view of Annapurna ranges, Fewa Lake, and Pokhara city. Boating in beautiful Fewa Lake will give you an amazing view of the hills, mountains, and Sarangkot. Later, in the leisure time, you can take a walk on the lakeside.

Day 05: Sunrise in Sarangkot & drive to Gorkha

Driving Duration: 30 minutes (Sarangkot)

Driving Duration: 2 hours and 45 minutes (Gorkha)

Very early in the morning, you will drive to Sarangkot, where you will observe the stunning sunrise. Sarangkot is a famous viewpoint for sunrise and sunset along with a panoramic view of Annapurna IV (7,525m), Annapurna III (7,555m), Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Machhapuchhre (6993m).

Soon after breakfast, you go for the Gorkha drive via Prithivi Highway. Then you will go sightseeing in Gorkha town along with historic remains of the old dynasty and culture of the local residents.

Day 06: Gorkha Durbar hike & drive to Daman

Driving Duration: 5 hours

Early morning hike up to the main attraction of the town, 16th century built royal durbar which is also the birthplace of Prithvi Narayan Shah (the first king of unified Nepal). You will also pay a visit to some of the Hindu temples in Gorkha and head towards Daman soon after lunch.

Daman is a beautiful place and the top attraction here is the ultimate panoramic Himalayan views. Mount Everest, Annapurna, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Langtang, Cho Oyu, Gaurishankar, etc are some of the peaks to observe from Daman.

Day 07: Drive to Nagarkot

Driving Duration: 3 hours and 30 minutes

Leave Daman after breakfast and proceed to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is one of the beautiful places in the country, 32kms northeast of Kathmandu valley which is famous for Himalayan views and for glorious sunrise and sunset.

Day 08: Drive to Bhaktapur-ChanguNarayan-Kathmandu

Driving Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes

Start off your day with gorgeous sunrise at dawn in Nagarkot and head off to Bhaktapur where you will witness some of the ancient arts and crafts. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is famous for its unique handicrafts, medieval era temples, and structures. Later, you will proceed towards Changunarayan Temple for further exploration of arts and structures. Being one of the oldest temples in Nepal, built-in 3rd century, it is one of the oldest discoveries. Finally, your today’s schedule will end after arriving at Kathmandu valley.

Day 09: Relaxation Day

Today is the 11th day of this tour package and it is basically a rest day. You can go to the markets for shopping and pick your favorite stuffs as souvenir. You will have farewell dinner with your guide before bed.

You will be transferred to the airport for your onward destination as per your flight schedule.
