Flight Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes, 1 hour 30 minutes
You will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight to Delhi and then to Leh from there. The flight from Delhi to Leh is an amazing flight above some of the magnificent peaks like K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum, and Nun Kun. Upon arrival, one of our representatives will greet you and transfer you to the respective hotel. In the evening, you will be visiting Leh Palace and Leh Bazar (market).

Today you will spend your day exploring Leh, the largest town in Ladakh. Leh was once the capital of the Himalayan Kingdom of Ladakh. After your early morning breakfast, you will visit Hemis Monastery, a Himalayan (Tibetan) Buddhist monastery 45 km from Leh. Thikse Monastery will be the next destination. The Gompa is the largest monastery in central Ladakh situated 19 km east of Leh which resembles Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. And the last sightseeing spot will be Shey Monastery positioned in the hillock of Shey, 15km south of Leh which was an ancient capital of Ladakh.

Driving Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Today after breakfast, you will leave Leh behind and drive to Alchi. En route you will pay a visit to Phyang Gompa, built-in 1515 it is one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh. You will also explore a palace founded in the 15th century in Basgo Village which lies 40km from Leh.
Once you reach Alchi, check-in at the hotel and relax. In the late afternoon, you will visit the Alchi Monastery which was built in the 11th century. The monastery has the oldest surviving paintings of the kings of Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh of that time along with a huge statue of Lord Buddha.

Leaving Alchi behind, today you will drive to Tingmosgang after breakfast. En route, you will stopover at Ridzong Gompa which was built in the mid 19th century by Lama Tsultim Nima. Upon arrival at Tingmosgang, you will visit Amchi Family Village and learn Amchi practices from the last Amchi of the family. Further, you will drive to Lamayuru Monastery. Lamayuru is one of the largest and the oldest monasteries in Ladakh with around 150 permanent monks residing here. Located beautifully above the village of Yuru, the monastery is one of the awe-inspiring gompas in Ladakh. By the evening, you will drive back to Tingmosgang for an overnight stay.

Driving Duration: 2 hours
Early morning, pay a visit to Maitrey Temple and Tingmosgang Palace positioned at a beautiful hill right in the center of twin village, Tia and Tingmosgang. You may sit for a session of meditation at Maitrey Temple or Avalokiteshvara (Cherazik) Temple. Then, trek back to your hotel for breakfast and you will proceed to explore the Tingmosgang Nunnery where you will be interacting with the nuns. In the late afternoon, you will drive back to Leh for overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Leh Airport for the flight to Delhi. From there, you will fly back to Kathmandu. You will have free time for shopping in the streets of Thamel or other areas.
